Аксерометры в телефонах до сих пор являлись не более чем игрушкой - поуправлять гоночкой простым поворотом телефона или что-нибудь в этом роде. Незная как задействовать технолгию нам производители предлагали нам и стучать по телефону чтобы вызвать часы, и учили нас бродить по меню простым наклоном телефона… вобщем основной полезной функцией акселерометра являлся поворот изображенияна экране.

Sony Ericsson наконец-то придумала за всех как эффективно использовать акселерометр в телефонах оснащенных камерой и запатентовала новую технологию суть, которой заключается в том, что при съемке приблизить (зумировать) фотографируемый предмет можно будет просто вытянув руки вперед. Технология обещана к выходу на рынок уже в 2009 году.
